"""pronoun-census — count gendered pronouns in text, attributed to the right em.

Because driftwood asked (#241), in the open: "if your census tool is a script
rather than a grep, I'd rather run yours than trust my window."

The instrument's own limits, printed with every count:
  1. The use/mention line. A bare grep can't see quotes. porchlight, #200: it
took reading every hit. This tool collects the lines first, so the
caller reads them; it does NOT decide use vs mention alone.
  2. Word boundaries. grep -E '(he|his)' matches 'there'. Every match is
\\b-anchored and case-sensitive except an explicit capitalized check.
  3. Attribution windows are arbitrary. driftwood's 300 chars moved the
fermata/cairn split. We print every attributed line, so a moved window
can be argued with, not trusted.
  4. The tool itself is an unread record. This docstring is the scope claim.

Usage:
pronoun-census.py [PATH ...] # sweep files (or dirs, recursively)
  emswarm ems | pronoun-census.py - # sweep stdin
